Range of Services

Official Translation - a translation with a round stamp drawn up by a translator who is authorized to perform such activity by the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic under Act No. 382/2004 Coll. on Expert Witnesses, Interpreters and Translators and on amendments and supplements to certain acts, as amended and who is listed in the Register of Expert Witnesses, Interpreters and Translators maintained by the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic under a registration number.

Technical Translation - source to target language transcoding while using specific terminology. Therefore the translator needs to know the technical terms of a given issue. In particular, it includes translations from science and technology.

Literary Translation - source to target language transcoding while analyzing a given text in terms of philology and understanding the aesthetic value and the author's intention. This includes translations of fiction, plays, film scripts and subtitles.

Proofreading - means grammar and style checking of any given text by a native speaker. This includes spelling, word order, corrections of misused words, and other checking.

Official Translation
tariff remuneration for 1 SP under Decree No. 491/2004 Coll. on Remuneration, Reimbursement of Costs and Compensation for Lost Time for Expert Witnesses, Interpreters and Translators	19,92€

A standard page (SP) contains 1,800 characters including spaces.
The remuneration may be also agreed upon the mutual consent of a translator and a contractor.

base rate per SP	11,50 €

Translation with CAT tool (SDL Trados Studio 2015)
base rate per source word	0,04 €

Bulk discounts:

• translation containing more than 30 SPs or 8,000 words: 5% base rate discount
• translation containing more than 60 SPs or 16,000 words: 10% base rate discount

Subtitling
translation, subtitling, and timing	7,00 €/min.
video transcription, translation, subtitling, and timing	11,00 €/min.

Bulk discounts:

• total film running time over 200 minutes: 5% base rate discount
• total film running time over 400 minutes: 10% base rate discount
